Secretary of TenneSEIA

David brings a sustainable approach to engineering and design. He understands that the best solutions to a problem take into account not only financial and physical limitations, but also social concerns and community goals.

David holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Cincinnati. After working for several Municipal Water/Wastewater consulting firms, he joined the Peace Corps where he spent two years building community capacity and bringing clean water to rural parts of Jamaica. David brings this spirit of service to everything he does.

He has a proven ability to identify underserved community needs, design impactful solutions and implement sustainable programs with lasting results. His experience in the Peace Corps developed his ability to forge relationships between governments, businesses, and community leaders in order to achieve common objectives. He consulted with local governments on community standards, planning tools, and GIS implementation.

In his experience in water and wastewater engineering, David recognizes that when you view projects through a sustainable lens it results in, more optimized facilities, more valuable communities, and more economical operations.
